Course
Management
With an ever-increasing supply of new golf courses, course managers are
constantly challenged to find ways to differentiate themselves from the
competition, attract new golfers and increase the bottom line. The GolfStar
System is an invaluable tool in accomplishing these
goals.
Increased
Pace of Play:
Course
Management can monitor and track each individual cart while on the course
through the use of the GolfStar Control Station. The Control Station displays
the location of each cart and compares it to the predetermined pace of
play. The pace of play algorithm easily calculates where each cart should
be and how far it is ahead or behind schedule, allowing Course Managers
to carefully control pace of play.
Two-way
Communication:
Allows
Course Managers to send instant messages to individual, groups or the
entire fleet of carts, informing them of slow play or any other desired
message. It is estimated that a GolfStar equipped golf course can accommodate
an additional sixteen rounds of play on peak demand days with no degradation
of player experience.
Fleet
Management:
Provides
management with the ability to develop a balanced cart rotation schedule,
eliminating undue stress, and reducing warranty and service issues.
Pin
Placements:
Course
Managers can easily select daily pin placements from predetermined zones.
The Course Manager determines how many zones there will be to choose from.
Increased zones aid in a more exact ball to pin measurement.
Tournament
Scoring:
The
GolfStar Tournament Scoring Package will turn any tournament into a PGA-like
experience. The GolfStar Tournament Scoring Package can handle events
of any size or complexity. With real-time scoreboard updates and the ability
to handle multiple formats, the GolfStar Tournament Scoring Package is
a must for a tournament of any size.
Management
Reports:
Custom
reports can be easily generated through the Club House- based Control
Station. Reports such as: Food and Beverage, Pace of Play, Rounds Played
Per Day/Month/Year and Cart Utilization are examples of the management
reports available.
Advertising:
Ability
to display on-screen advertisements and local course promotions utilizing
the graphic display unit.
Tee
Time Management:
Provides
the Course Manager with electronic tee time management capability.
