Management Team

David Maule-Ffinch: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ffinch has over 30 years experience in real estate investment and development, commercial radio, banking and marina development. Currently, Mr. Ffinch is owner of The Pensus Group, a Phoenix based investment firm founded in 1983. In 1984, Mr. Ffinch founded Anchor National Real Estate, which held an investment portfolio of $175 million. From 1978-1984, Mr. Ffinch served as Vice President of Gosnell Development Company, executing land acquisitions for The Pointe Resorts. In 1973, Mr. Ffinch structured the $140 million(PV) sale of the Manhattan Center in Brussels to MEPC and Rothschild European Fund. Mr. Ffinch founded Capital Radio in 1970, the first commercial broadcast company in England. Capital Radio is now the largest commercial radio broadcast company in the UK and is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange.

Mr. Ffinch obtained a Business Degree(Estate Management, Real Estate Law, Accounting, Statistics, Architecture, City Planning and Structural Engineering) from Wilcott(an affiliate of The University of Reading). He is a member of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors(ARICS), which is designated as the highest Real Estate qualification in the UK, requiring three years of University and two years of professional apprenticeship.

Richard Kafka – President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Kafka has over 25 years of experience in real estate finance, development, and operations management. From 1979 through 2000 he served in numerous executive positions with Gosnell Builders and Pointe Resorts International, including eight years as president. His responsibilities included strategic planning, budgeting, and operational oversight of over 40 corporations and 4000 employees.

He also served seven years as a naval officer where he accumulated 1,100 hours and over 300 carrier landing in fighter aircraft.

Mr. Kafka is a graduate of Colgate University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History.

Dan Dahl: Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Dahl is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years experience in real estate and marina investment and development, finance, and accounting. Currently, Mr. Dahl is the Chief Financial Officer of The Pensus Group, a Phoenix based investment firm which oversees the management and development of several marinas and commercial real estate projects. Previously, Mr. Dahl was involved in Public Accounting and was responsible for structuring multi-million dollar real estate acquisitions, financing and sales. Additionally, Mr. Dahl has years of experience consulting, advising and lecturing sophisticated tax planning.

Mr. Dahl received a BS in Accounting from University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin in May, 1992 and received his CPA in November, 1992.

Jeremy Crotts: Vice-President

Prior to joining Golfstar, Mr. Crotts most recently served as Project Manager for RentPort, Inc, a residential real estate software company located New York City. While at RentPort, Mr. Crotts was responsible for many areas of technology advancement including network architecture, database architecture, software development and business development. Mr. Crotts spearheaded the development of RentPort’s Intranet/Extranet while managing cross platform development and implementation of proprietary software applications. Mr. Crotts also served as the Relationship Manager for multiple vendors including National Co-Location Hosting Company Navisite.

Prior to that, Mr. Crotts was Internet Manager at CyberAction Inc., an Internet multi-media/gaming company located in New York City. While at CyberAction, Mr. Crotts was responsible for all phases of online development with a focus on sales, marketing and product development.

From 1996-2000, Mr. Crotts founded and operated a technology consulting company with satellite offices in Arizona and New York. Mr. Crotts’ clients included Schulte Marketing, Inc., The Estate of Roberto Clemente, Buck Showalter, and NHL Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert. Mr. Crotts worked for Wells Fargo Bank and First Mortgage Corp. from 1995-1999 where he gained exposure to commercial and mortgage banking. Mr. Crotts attended the University of Southern California from 1993-1997 where he studied Finance.

Frank Urban “Fuzzy” Zoeller – Director

Frank Urban “Fuzzy” Zoeller, is a seventeen year PGA Tour veteran, a two-time major champion (1979 Masters and 1984 U.S. Open) and accomplished golf course designer. (*For full credentials, please see attached)

Mr. Zoeller has been a part of the GolfStar Team since 1997. The GolfStar System was installed in August 2000 at the Zoeller designed/owned Covered Bridge Golf Club located in Sellersberg, Indiana. Mr. Zoeller and his team at Fuzzy Zoeller Productions have been instrumental during the development and testing phases. Their valuable feedback and direction have enabled GolfStar to develop a superior GPS Course Management System. Mr. Zoeller and his team of golf professionals continue to contribute with ongoing system related feedback, as well as, aiding the GolfStar sales force with leads and introductions.

Mr. Zoeller attended Edison Junior College, Ft. Myers, FL and The University of Houston.
